The Sikh Association of Capital District NY Inc. is a grassroots organization dedicated to faith and selfless service. Though small in size, we are bound by a powerful commitment to our neighbors. Since 1982, we have leveraged our community’s spirit to provide consistent food security and essential aid to Albany’s most vulnerable, proving that dedicated service can bridge any gap.

Established in 1982, the Sikh Association of Capital District NY Inc. exists to foster the spiritual growth of the Sikh community and embody the principle of Vand Chakko (sharing with others). We are dedicated to serving Albany and the greater Capital District through religious fellowship and impactful outreach, providing food and essential resources to our neighbors in need

Supporting Sidewalk Warriors of Troy with Food, Toiletries and other needs like warm clothes (gloves, hats, scarfs) & donated funds for beds for children 2023-2024 for Sleep in Heavenly peace

Interfaith Partnership for homeless with food and Toiletries & warm clothes (gloves, hats, scarfs, blankets) & worked with South End Children’s Cafe in Albany with Food and
